On May 15, 2025, the world of competitive sailing turned its eyes to Italy: Naples was officially named Host City for the 38th Louis Vuitton America's Cup, set for spring and summer 2027. This marks a historic first for Italy, a nation whose passion for sailing runs as deep as its maritime roots.

The decision to bring the America’s Cup to Naples was as strategic as it was symbolic:
